Can't wait for Xmas Day!

There we'll sit for the first time ever: my mother without her husband; me without my husband and my two teenage sons without their father or grandfather.

How am I going to put on a smiling face and pretend that it's all going to be okay? I wish I could just magic the day away

Sounds really tough Jenny. Its a hard time of year without extra challenges. An opportunity to celebrate in a different way perhaps?

Sometimes getting through the times which you dread the most, gives you the most pride in yourself. Don't let anyone take this away from you and the boys.Hugs.hx

Christmas can be such a tough time Jenny... stay strong, remember that you are loved and be kind to yourself :) The only guarantee is that it will be 'different' but that doesn't have to mean bad. Thinking of you xx

:( On the other hand, you DO have your Mum & your two sons. A time for making new traditions perhaps? {HUGS} Sometimes the anticipation is worse than the reality.

everything changes and while some changes are very hard, it's an opportunity for a fresh start in a new year. Take care and try and enjoy the season, you deserve it. x
