Desert Island photo

If you were on a desert island and you could only have one photo to scrap which one would it be? This is a challenge on the American scrap challenge site.

Well, that's easy for me. It would be this one:

My three boys walking down the beach at Rabbit Island. I have scrapped this one so many times and even the wonderful Vicky did a l/o of this one for me. I love this photo because it is so calm and peaceful. I love the reflections in the water and the mountains in the background. And of course it's taken at one of our most favourite places

No more Primary School ...

School started yesterday and now both boys are at Intermediate. Colin is now a very grown up Intermediate boy

Annual garden work

Now neither of us is wonderful at gardening and often what happens is that we do nothing all year and then one day a year we do lots and totally exhaust ourselves - today was the day. We spent some time weeding the front bed and putting in mulch. Then a friend came with his chain saw and trimmed back the pohutukawas.

This is what our garden looked like when he was finished.

And this is how I found Colin when I walked round the corner!

The criminal got two years
