Elephant Sanctuary

My SIL booked us an elephant encounter at the Elephant Sanctuary in Hazyview. It is both educational and a sanctuary for elephants who may otherwise not live

Here we are having signed indemnity forms waiting for our turn

While we were hearing an educational talk, the elephants were in the bush having fun with water

And then they appeared!

Walking trunk to tail - so cute!

And now it was our turn to get up close and personal with these huge beasts who were so gentle with us

Elephant kisses were a shock though! But gentle

Crazy elephant keepers! Who clearly love their charges

 What an experience! One I will remember for a very long time
